This Week in the CDSA (June 10 – June 17)

Posted By | Categories This Week

Good Morning Chicago DSA,

I hope each and everyone of you had a lovely week. I know that capitalism often makes it difficult to reach lofty heights like ‘having a lovely week,’ and it’s totally fine if your week was boring or dismal or absolutely putrid but, even still, I’m hopeful that yours was lovely despite the circumstances.

And, no matter how this last week went for you, we’re starting a new one literally right now! (Every new week officially starts when this email gets sent out. I’m pretty sure that’s written into the proposed CDSA bylaws but, if it’s not, I’ll be bombarding Ramsin with amendment requests from now until June 30). So, we’ve all got another shot at having a lovely week! As part of this noble effort, I’d like to suggest some of the events we have on the calendar. There are about one million (actually 7) working group meetings to choose from. And not only that, there’s A DOG PICNIC hosted by the Environmental Justice Working Group, followed up by a fundraiser concert for the Health Care Working Group to raise money for their Medicare for All campaign. All of these events will be very fulfilling and very fun and very socialist. All the information for them is posted below.

I’ll see you out there, comrades
