Good Morning Chicago DSA,
We just finished up a very busy week of socialism. There were lots of working group meetings throughout the week and then we capped it off yesterday with SocFem 101 and a Lift the Ban canvass. Hopefully you were able to make it out to at least one thing. I know that’s always my goal for the week, get to at least one DSA event.
We also had a cool announcement that you might have missed: our newsletter, Midwest Socialist, and our podcast, Talkin’ Socialism, have joined forces and our now working together both under the name Midwest Socialism. This also comes with a new format for the podcast too, so check out the newest episode that’s linked to below to see all the changes that are coming on that front. We’re building a CDSA media outlet to get socialist ideas in front of more and more people. If you want to get involved, I’d recommend coming to the Communications Working Group Meeting! The info for that is posted below as well.
It’s a bit of a lighter week than last week, schedule wise, but there are still plenty of ways to get involved. If you haven’t been to any CDSA events for, we’ve got a perfect one for you on Tuesday. I’ll see you out there, comrades.
